Petronas Hot Cars Cool Cash 2

petronas hot car Petronas Hot Cars Cool Cash 2

Petronas Hot Cars Cool Cash is back for the second time this year. It run from now until 8 November 2009 (cool, during Eid Mubaraq, I usually spend more time on the road, hence more petrol consumed). There are 6 mid-luxury cars up for grab as a grand prize as well as some cash. No Germans car this time.

If I were to choose the prize (ehem If I win), I’ll simply choosing Honda Civic because of fuel economy and higher resale value (yes, I want to sell it after a while), although I admire Alfa the most here. But the fact that continental cars (except Merc and Beemer) values depreciate in much faster rate than Japaneses cars, I prefer to stay away for now.

To participate is super easy, where you just need to spend minimum RM20 and swipe your Mesra Card at any Petronas, and you’re automatically in the running for the prizes.

In average I spent about RM400 for petrol permonth and 95% goes to Petronas. The remaining 5% goes to other oil companiews whenever I found not petrol station nearby and my cars is almost out of fuel.

Nothing have I won so far,  but wish me luck this round. Amin.

Falling down

A painful jump I had had yesterday. Had put up a sky high hope that if we were to jump it would terribly hurt. And yes, I fell down.. I didn’t know that it would hurt this much, but the pain is quite deep that I can still feel it.. Of course, I’d wanna get up and be on my feet again, but we’re not robots, we need time to recover from the wounds don’t we? I just hope the wounds would heal as fast as possible, it can be faster with some helping hands, and by God’s will of course.. Wonder of any good painkillers for this type of wound out there..

Sudoku addict

Started to get into Sudoku back in 2008, when I was working in a multinational company of high expectations of the employees.. With high expectations, they are looking for people with challenge-looking mindset, and yeap, Sudoku was a joy for those type of people. I must say most of my co-workers are intelligent guys, (well, i’m not so much at their level), and besides being a challenge to them, another challenge was to have a winner of the fastest solving sudoku of the day employee, but it was just among those in my department. It’s just less than 10ppl back then. It was rather fun !! Me, I like it, I like the challenge, but i’m not at their level just yet.

Sudoku, a puzzle, which involves arranging logic numbers from 1 to 9 in a designed blocks according to its rules, was invented back in 1979 by an American architect, Howard Garns, was published under the name ‘Number Place’. It was then a Japanese puzzle company Nikoli made the game popular with the name Sudoku, which means single number. Learn basics on how to play Sudoku here.

I left Sudoku once I resigned. My mind stumbled across Sudoku when I felt bored of playing Solitaire again and again. Not to say that I’m addicted that I go into Solitaire 24 hours a day or whenever I found some free time, it’d just be during times when my boredom swept over while I really can’t do anything else, example; while waiting for my turn to go and see doctor. Hehe, yea, at some other times not so free sometimes.. However, for me to be able to play an offline game of Sudoku, is something I need to look into, coz just now I played a bit of online Sudoku.

Hmm.. but of coz, I need to follow guidelines of my current ‘boss’, that if I’m able to go online, it’d be better for me to do something beneficial, like blogging in which can generate some $$  ;)

In addition, there is also Sudoku for kids, and hey, there will be an event of ‘Great Sudoku Challenge’ for kids age 7-15 yrs old from 10-12 April, 2009. The event to be held at PWTC is organised by Expomal International Sdn. Bhd., for the Smart Kids 2009 Education Fair. For more information, you can find more information here. Hmm.. only got to know about this, I’m thinking of getting my son into this at an early age, hehe of course when he’s able to comprehend la.

27th Jan – a memorable day

On this very same day last year, a couple went to a prenatal class early in the morning, but wasn’t able to finish it till end of the class. On this very same day last year, a woman was in a battle, accompanied by the husband’s support. And on this very same day last year, Allah has helped the woman throughout the battle, till the victory was cheered up by a baby’s cry. 27th January, 2008, at 8.51pm, Luqman Hakim came into the world, praise be to Allah for the very special gift of life.

And today, Luqman is 1 year old. From a baby to a boy, woah.. reminiscing the moments really makes the parents smile. The first smile, the first chuckle, the first crawl, the first walk, everything adds in to make the journey a very beautiful, wonderful, enjoyable, and memorable. By now, he can walk by himself, a very fast crawler he is, and he babbles a mixture of syllables on which we hope we can understand, in due time we can.

As all parents are, we hope and we pray that our beloved son, would grow up to be a good person in every aspects of life. May Allah help him, and us all, in everything that we do, always, amiiin..
